A private garden full of birdlife
The garden is the heart of Thula Moya. It’s private and lush, planted with indigenous trees, and it backs onto a strip of natural bushveld – so it’s alive with birds from first light.
Keep your binoculars handy: hornbills, guinea fowl and plenty of smaller species visit the trees around the cottage. It’s a lovely spot for a slow coffee on the veranda before heading into the park.
In the evening, the lapa is just a few steps away for a braai under the stars.
